There was a bug And then it was squashed.

Around dinner time this evening, the developer of our ADSL router software (Babylon) noticed a nasty little bug that would cause a PPPoE session to drop if the connection was maxed-out. (ie: full-speed download or upload)

In his words...
"There was a really bad bug in the Babylon LCP timeout bug that
would cause connections to drop (too short timeout). Restarted anvil's
babylond with a fix. Used the connection drop/restart trick so there was
only 15-30s of downtime.
"

We've recently received a few reports of disconnects that we couldn't explain... until now. Hopefully that's the end of that.
